Devon Leaver sings Hollywood Classics
Devon Leaver will perform “Hollywood Classics”, songs from the golden age of movies. An award-winning singer and filmmaker, Devon’s expertise in film and life-long love of music inspired this program of Hollywood hits. As a senior at the Ross School, she played Nellie Forebush in “South Pacific”, later appearing as Cherie in the Bates College production of “Bus Stop.” Devon earned her BFA at NYU Tisch School of the Arts. A versatile singer, she is a voice over artist for McKinsey & Company in NYC, a professional chorister at St. Ann’s Church in Bridgehampton, and enjoys singing jazz at The Rams Head Inn.
Saxophonist John Ludlow, a protege of the late Hal McKusick, will join Devon along with Peter Martin Weiss on bass, Jane Hastay on piano, set design by Michael Bronspigel.
The Session House is an intimate listening room with a well-tuned baby grand, directly behind the Big White Church on Main Street.
